Repeating Tables...Repeating same records (SQL)

I'm new to InfoPath and I'm trying to add a Repeating table but I'm having
trouble with 2 columns. The first column (DropDown list) is populate from a
SQL table and the second column (text box) is a description of the item that
is selected from the Dropdown (also populate from a SQL table)
The problem is as soon as I add a second item on the 1st column both
description has the same value (from the last item I selected), if I selected
a third one then the description 'll change again. Is there any way that when
I select differents items and the descriptions stays with their corresponding
values?

Are you using the current() function?

I tried it and it worked! Thanks! Parrt of the problem was that I was trying
to use the repeating table to send data to the DB and now I used the
repeating section to do this task. And it work excellent.

I have the same issue...question is how does the syntax work with the
current()?
Can you provide an example of code ....thanks
