Repeating Tables

I am a newbie to Infopath. I am trying to build a form which
displays portions of a database table depending on the user's
selection from a dropdown. When I bind a repeating table to the
appropriate table in the database, Infopath does not allow me the
option of creating a filter. What am I doing wrong?

You cannot query or filter secondary data connectiions. The whole data set
is loaded in. However you can filter the display of that data conditionally.

To have the ability to query and submit multiple tables, you must use web
services. An example and an explanation are available at
