Replace one generic resource with two resources

Can one generic resource be replaced with two resources? If so, how and how
does it split the work? Also, what if some work has already been claimed
against the generic resource, will that make a difference? Will the baseline
information transfer to the resource(s)?

How are you doing the replacement? Manually? Using the Resource
Substitution Wizard? Let us know.

I haven't used the resource replacement wizard before. I thought I could do
a replace through the buld team box but I think I can only replace one
resource with one not replace one resource with two. Thanks.

Hi Spunky, in a book I have it states "The wizard sustitues for 2 or more
generic resources on the same task, but it does not allow you to substitute 2
different actual resources for one generic resource that is allocated at 200%
[units]. For example, if you want 2 different VBA programmers assigned to 1
task, you have to manually add the second VBA programmer to that task." Hope
that helps. Cheers.
