replacement CDs for Office

Michael

My lovely wife (of 32 years its too late) decided the cute little plastic
case containing my Office 2003 CDs (Office v X for Mac) really needed
to be recycled. While she may get an A for intention, she gets an F for
application and I need replacement CDs. Anyone know where I go to
arrange this? Please don't respond with the frustrating, loop creating
web site. Been there. I just need to know how to get replacement CDs.
Thanks for the help.

You appear to be a little confused as to what version you're actually
running for a start! Are you running 2003 or are you running Office X?

And if you don't want the weblink then why bother posting - that is the only
place that tells you how to obtain replacements and it's very easy to
navigate.

Find a friend with the same version and edition of Office and talk him into
burning you copies. Nothing on a Microsoft CD ties it to a specific Product
Key, so you can then use your legal PKs to reinstall, modify, or whatever your
installation of Office. If you didn't write down the PKs and put them in a safe
place separate from the CDs, you can obtain them by D/Ling and running Aida32
Enterprise Edition free from www.aida32.hu, assuming that your Office is still
installed and running.

John,
I don't think aida32 works on a MAC!

You are, of course correct, sir, but he's not quite clear what he has "Office
2003 CDs (Office v X for Mac)" ??? I still stand by my suggestion that he "find
a friend...". Oh wait, have they started putting CD burners on Macs yet? <G>

Cheers,
john
