For Word (and it similar for Excel) click on the menu item Edit +
Replace. For more information on how to use to go press F1 to bring
up Help and type "replace" as the search keyword. The first topic
should be on replacing text. I'll add that if you want to just
replace a complete word, you'll need to click on the More button and
check the Find Whole Words Only box.
