replacing (c) with © in Resource Pool

I have an enterprise resource named: John Smith (c) As soon as assign that
resource to a task Project Pro changes his name to John Smith © and makes him
a local resource. How can I disable it? I disable spelling on Resource Name
field but that didn't fix it.

First of all, I would strongly recommend that you DO NOT attempt to use
special characters with any name in your Enterprise Resource Pool. Doing so
can lead to errors in rebuilding the OLAP cubes.

If you insist on using the special characters anyway, you need to change the
AutoCorrect option. Click Tools - AutoCorrect Options. I think you will
need to delete the (c) entry. Hope this helps.

Thank you Dale again! The AutoCorrect setting fixed it. Unfortunately I
cannot remove the (c) letters as they come from our company AD and are used
to mark contractors vs employees.
Thanks

I'm glad the solution worked. You are more than welcome for the help, my
friend! :)
