Replacing contacts on a WM 6.1 device with my Outlook contacts

Greetings Everyone,

I've been looking on this board for an answer to my question without a lot
of success so I'll post a new question. If there is already an answer to
this question somewhere on this board I apologize in advance for the
redundancy.

I'm running a AT&T Tilt with the latest HTC 6.1 Rom and my laptop is running
Office 2007 without the Business Contact Manager.

Last night, I spent several hours cleaning up and consolidating my contact
list and took it from 2000+ contacts down to 600 or so. (Organization will
set you free!) That's the good news. The bad news is that no matter what I
try, I can't get my new and improved contact list to take on my WM device.
I've went into the "Mobile Device Settings" and changed the settings under
"Manage a Partnership" to "Replace items on device" when there is a conflict.
I've removed the partnership, rebooted and set up a new partnership without
success.

Now, I'm just plain stuck.

If anyone has some recommendations on how to sync up everything I'd be
really appreciative.

Thanks in advance,
Bobby

Did you create multiple contact folders? Many sync programs will handle the
default Contacts folder only. Outlook does not take an active role in the
sync process and there are no sync-specific settings in Outlook. It is
completely up to the sync software you use. Have you looked for a forum for
that software?
