Replacing Destroyed XP CD's

Bill

During a recent move to a new ofice, a box containg all
of my sotware CD's including my XP Pro Windows & Office
XP Pro was inavertantly destroyed. I need to replace both
I realize but my main concern is the Office XP.

My question; Can I instead of buying he Full Version of
XP Office Pro instead buy the XP Office Pro "Update" and
still get full benefit of the bells & whistles that
haven't yet been installed?

This is on my Laptop and desktop and was purchased within
the last six months so as yet I haven't unwrapped all of
the nuances of the full XP Office Pro.

Any and all advice/direction/suggestions will be greatly
appreciated.

Thank you.

If your Product Keys used to install the Windows and Office are legal and
valid, all you need to do is find an accomodating friend with the same versions
who will let you copy the CDs. You can obtain your Keys(if you didn't store an
extra copy) using Aida32 Enterprise Edition. It's free from www.aida32.hu and
will display both your Windows and Office Keys for you. The issue for
activation is the valid PKs; nothing on an MS install CD ties it to a specific
Key. It simply checks to see that the Key is in a valid format.
