Replacing leading space in paragraphs

Wilf

Hi,

I'm trying to fix up / format nicely a very large document created by my
father-in-law and which he wants turned into a book. Annoyingly, he
seems to have inserted a single space in front of a majority of the
paragraphs and I'd like to get rid of these spaces. Is there any way
in the find/replace function that I can look for an initial space in
paragraphs without finding ALL spaces? There are too many do do this
manually - the document runs to 600 pages or more.

Your help very much appreciated.

You could try running a find and replace for two paragraph breaks and
replace with a single paragraph break.

Find ^p^p
Replace ^p

Thanks Peter. Something like that has worked for me.
