Replacing MS Works

I have a Tosiba Satellite laptop model 1115-S103 that came
with XP home installed as it's OS and has Microsoft Works
installed. I want to replace MS Works with Microsoft
Office XP Pro. Should I remove Works first or can I just
install Office XP Pro? Thanks

You can leave Works on the machine but I would remove Word as it will cause
conflicts if you apply the Office patches to your Office XP.

Please be aware that Works is *NOT* a qualifying product for Office. Lots of
folk still believe it is.
