hello!
i have inherited a large, complex, database. my job is to get it running in
Office 2007. well the last programmer used the assistant extensively!
does anyone have any suggestions for me on what i can do about this code? i
have loaded the .dll back into the Office folder, and updated the references.
i can use, and see, and find help on, all the code. it simply doesn't work!!!
Application.Assistant.On=True bombs.
none of the other assistant code bombs, just doesn't do anything.
Assistant.Visible=True is fine, just null and void!
anyway, before i go making custom dialog boxes for all these things, i
thought i would see if anyone else had an easier workaround. i am trying to
do this as inexpensively, and quickly (of course!) as possible.
thanks much.
