Replacing words/text throughout a document

Dear all

I have a 300+ page document that I need to proof read. Throughout, there is text (specific phrases and telephone numbers) that recur multiple times on each page which are incorrect. Is it possible for Word to search the document for phrases and replace them. Doing this manually would take me a long time.
