Replaying audio in word document

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) I recorded an interview in word. Now that I replay it, it sounds as if being reproduced in slow motion and is incomprehensible. Does anyone know how to play it at normal speed? Thanks
