Replied arrow on original email

If you delete a reply message before sending, the arrow indicating a reply
was sent still appears on the original email. Does anyone else experience
this? It would be useful for me if that did not happen, as when I go back, I
have to check my sent folder to figure out if I actually sent the reply or
not.

I see it as well. The act of clicking Reply changes the icon.
