Replies to calender meeting invitations result in a NDR

My client has a MS SBS 2003 with exchange 2003 on a Dell Poweredge 2650.
Two weeks ago we had to reload all software from scratch due to a hardware
failure. We were able to complete a full backup of the SBS and all the
users Outlook PST files. During the rebuild we decided to change the domain
name from XY domain to XYZ due to the fact that the businesses name had
changed. We restored everything possible on the SBS and imported all the
users Outlook PST files.

We have everything back normal with the exception of the imported PST data.
It seems that when ever someone tries to reply to any invitation to a
calendared event that was created prior to the rebuild they receive the
following:

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

/O=XY/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=username

Reporting-MTA: dns;XYZ.com
Received-From-MTA: dns;panther.mail.utk.edu
Arrival-Date: Sun, 27 Nov 2005 21:29:27 -0600

Final-Recipient: x-ex;/O=XY/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE
GROUP/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=username
Action: failed
Status: 5.1.2

The problem is that any calendared event that were created prior to the
rebuild still has a link to the old XY domain hence the /O=XY which of
coarse doesn't exist.
If you confirm my diagnosis I would be more than grateful for any suggestion
on how to correct this with out having to delete and recreate the hundreds
of events
that my clients have on their calendars.

Thanks,

Wally1
