Why does every email I send default to the same address. I have set the reply
address on each email account with the correct reply to address but it still
reverts to the wrong reply to address.
What you want recipients to see in the From header is dictated by what
you enter in the E-mail field in the account you defined in Outlook.
The Reply-To header is NOT the From header. That is a separate header
which the sender requests the recipient's e-mail client to use when
sending a reply. You may send out e-mails from one account and show the
e-mail address for that account but you want replies going to a
different account.
The recipient will see in their e-mail client whatever is in the From
header as the sender. When they reply, and if the Reply-To header is
present in the original e-mail, their e-mail client will use the e-mail
address in the Reply-To header. You won't see the Reply-To header when
you compose a new e-mail because you haven't sent it yet. You could Bcc
a copy to yourself and then look at the headers to check that the
Reply-To header got added.
Is there a reason why you want recipients to see one e-mail address but
have them reply to a different e-mail address?
