Real obscure and odd problem...
I have a user who opened a sent email, then he replied to the email, now his
global Outlook settings for reply emails have latched onto the paragraph
spacing of the email he replied to.
The only non-default setting is that he has chosen Word as his email editor.
Under Outlook "Tools", "Options", "Mail Format" (tab), the setting for
"Compose in this message format" set to "HTML".
Same Options page, middle section for Stationary and Fonts has a Fonts
button. Everything in Fonts is default, and there's nothing that mentions
paragraph spacing.
If he goes into the paragraph settings for each reply, he is allowed to
alter paragraph spacing, but there's a double spacing at the extreme top and
bottom of his reply that he can't alter, and the settings aren't saved
globally, so he has to do this every reply.
None of these problems exist for new emails, only replies.
If Word is de-selected as his editor, the problem goes away. So I looked
into Word, Tools, Options, General (tab), "E-mail Options" (button), there's
nothing there that affects the spacing of his reply email paragraphs.
I closed Outlook and moved his files from %userprofile%\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\ to a temporary folder and then launched Outlook, but
that didn't fix it.
Does anyone have an idea how I can fix this?
Thanks
