Reply mail doesn't actually reply

The case is:
- My user receives an email.
- He replies that email.
- The received message shows a replied icon and when it is opened, the reply
date and time are shown.

The problems are:
- Recipients cannot receive the reply email and have no warning.
- The "Sent" folder does not have the reply email.
- The sender is not notified by NDR.

Environment:
- All users are in the same Exchange organization.
- Exchange version is 2007 SP1.
- Clients are Outlook 2003 with latest SP3 patch.

I tried message tracking log but there is no footprint on the reply mail.

Please help!

Regards,

Joseph Liu

Was the message ever sent? If you hit reply and autosave kicks in (usually 3
min) then close it without sending it, the icon/infobar does not change.

Diane,

My user can find most of the messages in the draft folder as he really
forgets to clikc the "Send" button. However, at least one or two messages are
having the issue I described.

Regards,

Joseph
