reply messages are stripped if cox.net user

When sending e-mail to Cox.net users, any reply message from that user is
stripped when it hits Outlook. If I view it before it hits Outlook on
webmail, the reply is shown. This only happens if it is to and from a
cox.net user. Direct e-mails (not replies) from Cox users are fine.

Then I would check with Cox.net to see what their issue is.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Sage asked:
