reply overlays the original message

Hi everyone,

I have a user that is running Office XP SP3. When she replys to certain
emails it places her reply over the top of the original message and it
obviously makes it hard to read. Her mail account is on a Windows 2000
SP4 box running Exchange 2000 SP3.

Any help is greatly appreaciated.

What do you mean by "over the top of the original message"? Do you really
me "above the text of the original message"? You simply can't have one set
of characters overlaying (i.e., superimposed upon) another set of
characters. If you really mean the former, there are good ways to deal with
it.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the help. the letters are superimposed on top of each other.
Picture this... you type 2 documents and print them on transparent
paper. Then take the 2 pieces of transparencies on place them on top of
each other. Notices how it would be hard to read since the words
overlay each other.

I have never encountered anything remotely similar to that. I an't begin to
imagine what could cause it.
