I'm stumped. I have a user who is receiving replies to emails in Outlook
2007. These replies have come from a variety of sources, but are not showing
the reply text.
This is an IMAP account. When the user browses into his email using a web
browser, the reply text is shown correctly. When we forward the message to
his Blackberry, the reply text is shown correctly. When he views these
particular message in Outlook however, the reply text is hidden.
He's also complaining of sending winmail.dat files. This smacks of Rich
Text, right? We've been all over his settings and have everything set to
HTML, not Rich Text.
In fact, he forwarded the problem messages to me and the reply text doesn't
show in my Outlook 2007 either. However the text is there when I browse to
my email and is also there when I forward the email to my Blackberry.
I have resorted to rolling him back to Outlook 2002 for now, where
everything looks just fine. I am at a loss. Any suggestions?
