replying to emails with Outlook 2003

How do I make HTML the default format when replying to emails? It comes up
as plain text and then when I change to HTML my signiture (which has
different text styles in it) is all converted to my plain text font - in my
case Arial 12.

Hope someone can help!

Outlook uses the format the message arrived in - you can't change it
automatically and shouldn't. Plain text uses the font configured on the
readers computer - if you don't like Arial 12, change it.

appreciate the reply and help. i have spent ages looking though the options
in outlook trying to find a solution!!!!!!! I will attack putting my
signiture onto replies in a different manner.
