Replying to mail in the Sent Folder

I'm a recent convert to Outlook 2007 from Pegasus Mail, so I'm not
that up on all the fiddly bits. :)

Anyway, there's one thing that Gmail does (which I still use for
personal email) that I wish Outlook did. Or Pegasus did for that
matter. Anyway, if you send a mail to someone, and then reply to the
email in the sent folder, Gmail is smart enough to know you don't
really want to reply to yourself, and it redirects the msg to who the
To: is in that msg. I rather like that. You know if Outlook can do
that?

If so, how?

Why would you want to reply to an email that YOU have sent?

You're not replying then; you want to add something to your original message
;-)
Open the message, Other Actions->Resent this message
You can then edit all you want.

That essentially "re-edits" the last message. I don't really want to
do that. I wanted to add another msg in the chain.

Gmail is smart enough to know I don't really want to reply to myself -
wish Outlook was too. Apparently it's not. :(
