I'm running Office 2003 on XP Media Center (all updates current) on a new
Toshiba Satellite with 2GB ram and 200 GB hard drive. When I go to create or
edit an existing report, it takes forever to open, draw a control, move a
control, edit properties, anything. I disabled the name autocorrect feature
(per kb article) but it didn't help. I can copy any of my mdb's over to my
desktop machine (w2k or xp, office 2k or 2003) and everything works fine.
Problem is only on my laptop. Nothing peculiar in the process list (that I
can see) and no other programs running.
Any thoughts? It's driving me nuts.
