Report done by year quarters

I know a long time ago I had a version of access that would allow you to
setup reports for quarters. (At least I think that was the case, but it was a
long time ago.) I'm trying to do a report that will allow me to sort data by
quarters (Q1, Q2, Q3, or Q4) in a year. I can't find an easy way to do that
without createing a form and requiring data entry asking for dates ranges.

Is there an easy way to extract data for the any quarter of year xxx.? I am
using access 2007 (and driving myself crazy with it. Still not proficient
with it at all!)
