report download times in frontpage 2003

Hi I have been working in Frontpage 2003 designing my website and found that
I have some slow files. Some of these slow files are much slower than what I
would expect. Some files are slow at 20 kb - time 30 secs to download whilst
some i created today are slow at 12kb - time 30 secs.
Why is this?

Where are you seeing this download time?
Are you actually timing it using your remote web??

Hi,
I'm looking at the time in the reports file in Frontpage 2003. The report
differs from the actual time it shows at the bottom of the particular page
I'm working in at the time.
I'm working off line whilst designing.

I wouldn't take those times at face value - they are very rough estimates
probably based on a connection operating at maximum efficiency.

You have to take into account all the other traffic on the web, and whether
you're hosted on shared web servers and many other factors.
