report error: overflow

I'm trying to run a report and it first gives me an error
saying that one of my tables might be exclusively locked
and will only open in design view. I checked all of my
table and they seem to be fine. Then when I go back and
try to run the report for a second time, I get an error
that says "overflow". Not sure what that means and what I
need to do in order to run the report.
