Report Format

I am using Access 2002 (10.6771.6830) SP3 and I want to move one of my
reports from 8.5 X 11 to 5.5 X 8.5 and print on half size paper. I
have changed the report width in the design view yet when I do a
preview on it, it is in 8.5 X 11 format. Clearly there is some other
place where I need to make the change. I have examined all the
features in File, Edit, etc and cannot find anything that would
address my problem.

Can anyone suggest where I might look to resolve this problem>

Thanks, Jan

You would need to go to FILE > PAGE SETUP, go to the PAGE tab and then set
the Paper Size for the printer there. You might need to use the CUSTOM size.

Jan,

Have you checked the page setup setting? I have something similar (prints
8" x 3"). On the columns tab I have the report set to print 1 column, 0"
row spacing, column size 8" x 3", same as detail is checked. I also have
the report set up to use a specific printer which is configured specifically
to print at 8x3. I don't know if you need to do this; I do it because I'm
printing to PDF. Hope this gives you a start on where to look.

Yes, I have checked all those and I still get it in 8.5 X 11. There
must be some other parameter that forces letter size.

I found it. If I use the "User Defined Size" and set it to 5.5 X 8.5
it reverts to 8.5 X 11. If I set it to A5 it works. Sorry for the
false alarm and thanks for your quick response.
