I have designed a database for keeping track of and
logging documents sent out for review. For logging I am
using a report which has all of the necessary fields in
good working order, but there is a problem I would like to
solve. Sometimes we send out one document for review, and
sometimes we send out ten. The log entry for ten items
takes up ten lines in the log, and therefore more vertical
space than the log entry for one item. I would like the
amount of space in the log to be appropriate to the amount
of information that is to appear rather than being an
absolute amount. Right now there is a lot of blank space
in my prototype, since I had to make allowance for all of
the possible fields.
