OK so its been awhile since I have written an access report. I have been
using this product since before it was called access. Now for the simple
question..

When the report wizard builds a report it places the label in the header and
the field in the detail section. How do I uncouple them so that I can move
the label seperate from the field ?

the label seperate from the field ?

If the label is in the report or page header section, it's
probably already "decoupled".

To separate a label from its text box, select the label and
cut (Ctrl+X) it, then select the section (not a control) and
paste (Ctrl+V) it.
