Report Needs a Query

I have just learned that I need to do a query before I
can do my report.

However, I did it backwards I did my report first then my
query.

How can I change my report to be based off of a query as
oppossed to being based off of a table like it is now.

If all the fields currently in the report are also in the new query...
Open the report in design view.
Show the property sheet.
Click on the data tab.
Click on the Record Source property line.
Enter the query name.
Save the changes.
Run the report.
