I'm running Project Server 2002 with approximately 150 projects published.
I'm being asked to generate a weekly report showing the list of projects,
start/end dates, and various other pieces of information. One of the
advantages of doing this in Project Professional 2002, is that I can utilize
the graphical indicators (all of our managers seem to like that).
I've been doing ok creating a "master" project plan and saving it locally
onto my desktop. (I don't allow master plans on my project server.)
However, 150 projects has become too many for me to determine if there are
updates to the plan, then remove it from my master plan, the re-add the
project to my master plan.
Is there a way to "insert all" projects on the server to a plan?
(In effect, I'm trying to create the Project Center view but in printable
form for a weekly management meeting. I know the simplest thing to do would
be to have management look at the project center view, but we haven't
migrated that far in our processes, so I need this as something in the
interim.)
Thanks,
John
