Report on "New Task" Requests from Resources?

Is there any way to view the "New Task" requests made by a resource when they
assign themselves to a task? Or, perhaps viewing the Project Manager's
approval for tasks a resource has assigned themselves too? Does the Reporting
Database have any thing I can query from Excel? I want to view all resource
generated "new task" requests made for a specific schedule. Any ideas on how
I could generate this data?
