Report problems

I loaded an old Access 95 version on my new Dell with the XP operating system last year and started having problems after 1/1/04. Any new data base I create has problems with changing reports. After a few modifications, the save function fails and I can't delete the report from the data base. My old data bases from my previous computer work fine

Is there a problem with old versions of Access and the XP operating system?

The original release of Access 95 was extremely buggy (like the original of
Access 2000). It may be that you had applied some of the patches to your
previous computer (such as vba232a.exe), and you will need to do the same to
your new computer as well.

Access 95 is no longer a supported version. It may be possible to get an old
patch from
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/Softlib/
or you may need to upgrade to a later version.
