Report Resource Overallocation by week instead of day?

Steph

How do I get the resource over allocations to work by week rather than by day?

We are only interested in over allocations if the resource is overallocated
for the whole week but it is highlighting resources in red if they are over
allocated for a single day even if over-all they are actually doing less
hours than they are able to for the whole week.

Thanks,
Steph

In Microsoft Project, a resource is overallocated if you assign more work to
that resource than the resource can perform in ANY time period, including as
little as a 15-minute time period. There is no way to change this
definition. The best you can probably do is to apply the Resource Usage
view, zoom to Months Over Weeks, and then look for red numbers greater than
40h. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale.

I suspected this to be the case but at least now you have confirmed it for me!
