Let me try to describe this.....We have a report that sorts by Department
then by Employee Name. There is one employee per page. The Dept Name is in
a header. The employee name is in a header. We print sales detail for the
employee as well as a total footer for the employee.
I was asked if (off to the right) I could list the other employee names in
the department. I created a subreport that simply shows Depart and Employee
name and stuck it on my report. I set the Master/Child Links as well. So
now you see a department and and emplyee and his/her sales information on the
page. If you look way tot the right you also see the other employee names in
the department. The trouble is that if I have 25 employee in the department
it sucks up all the white space to the left before printing the employees
details. Is there a way to tell Access to crunch the space together...I will
try to illustrate below...
