Report text boxes will not export to Excel

Hi.

When I export a report to excel all the detail records
export successfully, however calculated text boxes in the
Page and Report footers do not.

The control source for the calculated text box is a simple
one "=Sum([CJanC])".

I recieve a message from excel when I open the file "File
error. Some number formats may have been lost".

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
