Report the total number of Work hours in a calendar quarter

I have a pretty complex schedule with many tasks, subtasks, and resources.
The tasks overlap multiple quarters. I need to generate a report which
calculates the number of work hours within a calendar quarter. Any
suggestions?

Hello Kathy,

Use the Task Usage view : View / Task Usage (or the Resource Usage)
Change the timescale : Format / Timescale...
Set the Bottom Tier to Quarters.

PS : Before setting the Bottom Tier to Quarters, you have to set the Middle
Tier to Year, or anything greater than the Bottom Tier unit. Bottom Tier
unit needs to be smaller than Middle Tier unit.

One more question for you - Now that I can see exactly what I want on the
screen, (Multiple rows, each with summary task name and number of hours of
work per quarter) how can I export this view to excel?
