I have a database that was written for the Marketing department. They filter
data, print it to a report, send that report to an rtf (although we've also
tried other formats), then copy that data and paste it itno InDesign. Here's
my problem: when the report data transfer to word (or pdf) it includes
carriage returns and tab indicators that don't appear in the Access report,
causing them to reformat it (either in Word or in the final product.) I've
looked through this discussion group and seen several issues with sending a
report to file but not necessarily this particular problem. Does anyone have
any suggestions or workarounds that might help?
Thank you.
