Part of my application fills a table with the path and filename of .jpg
photos. A form allows the user to add a caption to each photo in the list.
My report uses an ImageFrame to display the photos/captions. Furthermore,
the I have set up colums on the report to allow up to 6 photos to be
displayed per page.
Everything works great...except.
When there more than 12 photos or 2 pages, opening the report in preview
mode puts a huge strain on the Page File Usage. The report will open fine
in preview mode, but memory gets more and more consumed with each subsequent
page that is viewed in preview mode until finally, photos are not displayed
at all.
Is there a way to prevent this report from consuming so much memory? Page
File Usage in the Windows Task Manager shows memory of up to 1.3 GB being
consumed until the report is closed.
