Hi folks,
It looks like there is a bug in the Access 2000 report
Wizard for a split front end / back end database where the
back end resides on a Terminal Server server, but the
front end does not appear in the same folder.
An error appears stating that the object Report 2 does not
exist.
I suspect that "Report 2" is a temporary object created by
the Wizard, as it is not an object that we have created.
Also, the problem does not happen if the back end and
front end are in the same folder.
As it turns out, we are not too bothered, as we have
created the rteport we require anyway, but it does
restrict our users from creating further reports unless we
have the back and front end in the same folders (not
always ideal, even on Terminal Server).
Has anyone else come across this problem, and is there a
fix for it?
Cheers,
Matt
