Report won't print items from form based on a query

Have looked for this but cannot find the answer.
I have a form called 'complaints', this form has a button on it that then
opens another form called 'improvement'. the improvement form displays info
from the complaint form such as complaint number and persons name. the
improvement form is based on a query that asks for the complaint record
number first so it can then display the persons name from that complaint on
the improvement form. I then want to print the improvement form which works
fine except the name field shows up blank on the report and it is not blank
on the improvement form?? I think it is something to do with the query.

OH NO!! nevermind Ive sorted it!! hahaha im such an idiot!! The flamin form
was not displaying data because i had commanded the first form to close
hahahaa, and that took me 2 days to realise!! hee hee hee
