Reporting Services - cannot access properties and datasource

I have a developer who is assigned the Publisher and Browser and has created
a report but cannot access the data source or the properties of that report.

The error says "the permissions granted to user X are insufficient for
performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)

In PWA this user is only setup in the Team Member group.

Anyone run into a permissions issue like this? My understanding is the
Publisher role should be proficient here.

Project Server permissions (roles) don't also grant access to the SQL
databases. It sounds like the SRS report is setup to us the user credentails
to access the Project Server SQL reporting database. You will need to grant
that user DBReader to the project server reporting database. Or grant access
to a domain group that contains that user.

Ray, thanks for your reply. To answer your quation, yes the user is setup as
a DB Reader.

The user with teh issue is setup like other users, who co not have any
issues with access.
