Reporting Services Reports - Display Task's notes

Yves

Hi,
I work on a Project Server installation (based on WSS 3.0), with SQL Server
Reporting Services also installed. Some reports have been created on Visual
Studio and deployed on the server, everything is ok.
I need to display in a report a note linked to a task (filled in Project
Profesional Task Information Notes tab).
Do you know the Database and the table or view where I could get this
information and put it into my report?
I found out a good post explaining how to do it
(http://blogs.msdn.com/chrisfie/arch...t-project-task-s-notes-field-in-a-report.aspx)
but it just works in the Visual Studio preview mode and it doesn't work once
the report is deployed on the server. The text filled in the note is not
displayed.
Thank you for your help, it's a strong need for me.

Hi Stephen,
Thank you for your time.
When I deploy the report, and when I access it through IE at report server
URL I don't see any error in the application log (Event Viewer).
Concerning the rendered report, no errors exept the "N/A" displayed instead
of the task's notes.
But this "N/A" message comes from the code in the report (errortrap: return
"n/a") and is supposed to be displayed when there is no note linked to a task.
Hope this will help you to find a way to fix this issue.
Best regards
Yves

Strange. Try looking in these log files:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms157403.aspx. I would
specifically recommend the Execution Log and Service Trace Log.

Let us know if you find anything.
