reports formatted for center fold books

Dave

I would like to publish a report in a book format where I can fold the report
to make a booklet. MS Outlook and MS publisher had this feature. In Access is
it possible to print to 8.5x11 paper in a way that it can be folded into a
8.5 by 5.5 booklet with a center staple with all of the pages in order? This
would also be nice for other sizes of paper such as 11x17 to 8.5x11 or 8.5x11
to 5.5x4.25. It seems like it would be a simple rearanging of the print image
to a new order.

This would also be a nice feature for Word and Excell.

Probably the easiest way to do this is to use a product like Click Books,
http://www.bluesquirrel.com/products/clickbook/ Which uses a printer
emulation to take the output of your report, page by page and manage it into
a booklet layout. Hope that helps.

Steve ArbaughGo to www.xerox.com and download a postscript printer driver. The one I
selected for this purpose at a previous date was the Xerox WorkCenter Pro (a
color printer driver). It comes as a zip file. YOu'll have to unzip it
someplace.

Linda Burnside"finally decided to use a software product called FinePrint
(www.fineprint.com) which acts as a Postscript printer. I give it the
appropriate settings to configure the result as a booklet, and it takes care
of the whole thing." (snip) about $50.00

Bob HowardCheck your printer properties. My Canon comes with a setting to print as a
booklet. Not too happy with the margins it sets and it wont let me set them
manually, but it does print booklets.
