Hi,

Can I have a few reports somwhere on the web and let Managers go into
the web in order to see the reports?

How can I make few reports and save them? (right now I can only change
the current report. I dont know how to create a new one without
changing the old one)

Thanks,
Hanni

I am not sure my self.
I need a place where excecutives can go in (I assume it will be the
PWA) and see details such as: finish milestone for all the projects.
resource hours per project etc.
and this need to be very user friendly. as less as they will need to
chenge the report as possible.

Hi Hanni,

you may also want to check out the Data analyser, which gives you
consolidated information regading projects ( Cost and Work ).

If you are familiar with OLAP Cubes ( Pivot Tables ) then you will find this
reporting capabillity most interesting.

Also note, that Project Server 2007 profides a Reporting Database, which
allows you to create your own Standard Reports with a SQL Server reporting
tool like Reporting Services or Cristal Reports.
I hope that helps

thanks.
1. I am admin in the system.
2. I created a report in the data analysis tool BUT I would like to
have few reports and to save them. Is it possible to save them
somewhere that other users (not admin) will be able to go in -> choose
a report by name and get an online information?

Thanks

Hi Hanni,

the way we achieve this is by using the report builder wich is part of SQL
2005. You will need to create a model using information from the Project
Server reporting DB and with these models business users can create their own
reports which can be called when required.

This is more a SQL functionality then a Project server one, but it works
like a treat :) let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks a lot.
I am a bit disappointed that it is MSP 2007 and still has very poor
reports options.
