Reports or forms after using the partition function

So I used the partition function with a crosstab query. It works great, but
unfortunately, I cannot produce any reports or forms using this data (the
form wizard shows no fields, and if I try and use a list-box with this query
I am told there are no valid fields). Is there anything I can do, or is this
a pitfall of the partition function?

I have only used partition in such a way as would be a row output.
Post your SQL so I can take a look.
