Reports with subreports

Hello,
I have a report with a subreport in the detail section. The subreport is 5
force new page items. In the subreport it is 5 pages. When I drag it into
the final report in the detail section, it turns into 1480 pages (5 pages x
296). My work around in that I just print the first 5 pages. I have
searched the newsgroups to no avail. How do I remove the 295 unnecessary
pages? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a record source wiht 296 records in your main report?

I have 284 records in my main report. I think I see the problem-What's the
fix?

Either remove the record source of the report or move the subreport to the
report footer of the main report.

I thought I tried that, but I moved it to the page footer. It worked,
