Reports won't open-Urgent

I have a problem that has cropped up this week. A number of key reports in
two different databases will not open. When I use a form to open the report
I get a message, "The open report action was cancelled." When I open them
manually I get a momentary hourglass, then nothing. What's worse is I
cannot get into design view either. If I go into visual basic I can see the
codes for each report. I can also run the underlying queries. I have also
copied this to another computer with the same results.

I'm very concerned. What could be the problem? I've never bumped into
anything like this before. All my other objects seem fine.

Here's another oddity. In each database I have found at least one report
that will open in both design and preview modes. In the one I am working in
now 10 different reports won't open, 1 will.

You nailed it in one blow. We got a new printer yesterday. This was my
default printer.

How do I fix?

I came up with a solution which I thought I would share. It was as simple
as choosing a different default printer. I suppose I should have thought of
that sooner. It's so easy to ignore the obvious.

Still don't understand why the new printer caused this problem, but at least
I can get my work done.
