Repost: File Upload Folder Properties (WAS: FP2003 on W2K Server)

Actually, I am running a development server as the host--IIS5/FP2002
Extensions/W2KPro.
Eventually I will transfer to the remote server, but for now I am doing
everything locally. I've never had a problem doing this with FP2000.

First, specifically what do you mean by "The host must first of all allow
the file upload"? The host and the development machine are the same. I am
able to open the site, insert the file upload form, and create the file
upload folder within FP. However, I can't modify the folder's attributes,. I
am logged on as an administrator, and FP Server Extensions 2002
Administration indicates that I have full administrative rights.

Okay, after logging in to my remote server I was able to modify the folder
attributes as the instructions for adding a file upload form indicate, and
files upload correctly. The help files for incorporating this are a little
slim!

Thanks to Tom and Kevin for their help!

Excellent, Kristen. Glad you got it!
